Baška is the best known tourist resort on the island of Krk, the largest island in the Adriatic. It is located on the southeast, in the picturesque and gentle Baška valley that will enchant you with its natural beauties.

And in the fauna of the area there are unique species such as little owl, eagle owl, white-backed vulture, snake eagle, peregrine falcon, sea crow...
Autochthonous animal species of this region which is threatened with extinction is donkey. He became so rare that the special program for its preservation is being in preparation.
In Baška waters there are indigenous species: shrimp – the most appreciated Adriatic crawfish, lobster and dentex.
